Holiday music at Jay Heritage Center
Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at 6 p.m. The holiday greens and garlands are going up as we prepare for our last program of the year, a lively evening of colonial holiday music of old New York accompanied by tastes of the seasons for all our supporters and friends.
Don’t just read about history, hear it. Enjoy an acoustically unique setting, where historic mahogany ceilings and enameled brick walls provide the only amplification for our performers and their instruments. Playing lutes, theorbos and guitar, Grant Herreid, director of Yale’s Baroque Opera Project and his friends will fill the Carriage House with a selection of 18th and 19th century melodies both joyous and exquisite.
For more information about the program or to reserve tickets please contact the center at
914-698-9275. Free for JHC Members.

Shop for fresh produce all winter long
Westchester residents will be able to buy farm-fresh local produce, cheeses and other dairy products, meats, baked goods and wine directly from farmers and producers at the indoor farmers market to be held on the last Sunday of each month from November through March, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.
