Titans down Pearl River

Behind goaltender Brian Ket-chabaw’s shutout performance on Feb. 2, the Rye Town/Harrison Titans buried a good Pearl River team 2-0 to improve to 10-6 on the year.

Ian Bass and Brian Kelly provided the offense for RTH on Sunday, while Ketchabaw was perfect in net, stopping all 12 shots on goal to blank the Pirates for his first shutout of the year.

Goaltending has been a particular strength for the team this season as Ketchabaw and teammate Joey Livornese have combined up to give the Titans the top netminding tandem in
the section.

As a result, the Titans are enjoying one of their best seasons in recent memory and should be a relatively high seed when the playoffs start on Feb. 17. The Titans conclude their regular season with games against New Rochelle, Monroe-Woodbury and Ossining.
