A Palmer Avenue man informed police his wallet, spare car keys and house keys were missing. The black leather wallet included two Chase Bank credit cards and a USAA credit card.
At 7:35 a.m., an employee of the CVS Pharmacy located at 1310 Boston Post Road informed police a man was attempting to steal baby formula from the store. The New Rochelle man was arrested and charged with petty larceny. The baby formula, valued in excess of $200, was recovered.
A Mamaroneck woman walked into the police station at 3 p.m. to report her clarinet and black clarinet case with identification tags valued at $1,000 were stolen from the playground area of Central School, located on Palmer Avenue. The investigation is ongoing.
At noon, a Mamaroneck man informed police of a possible identity theft. The Kolbert Drive resident said six IRS forms with his name on them were filed fraudulently.
A resident of Barnwall Lane in Mamaroneck reported to police that sometime between midnight and 11:59 p.m., $6,000 was illegally withdrawn from his online bank account. Police are investigating the grand larceny case.
A vehicle was stopped at 6 p.m. on Country Road during a DUI checkpoint. During a search, police found 18.5 grams of marijuana in the vehicle. The Larchmont man was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. The man is due in court.
In Larchmont, a West Garden Road man reported to police that sometime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. someone illegally withdrew $3,981.33 from his Chase bank account. Police are currently investigating the case.
At 10:56 a.m., police received a call from a female caller on West Drive who said a male relative had physically harassed her. Police arrived at the location and talked to the complainant. No arrests were made.
A Village of Mamaroneck man reported various items were stolen from his vehicle on Myrtle Boulevard, including a MasterCard credit card, American Express credit card, medical insurance card, driver’s license and vehicle registration, sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
At 8:36 a.m., police were called to the scene of a two-car accident where a Mamaroneck driver was struck from behind on Boston Post Road at the intersection of Hommocks Road. Police interviewed the drivers of both vehicles. The female driver of the vehicle that was struck from behind complained of back and neck pain, but refused medical attention.
Police received a call from a Larchmont woman, who said her car was damaged sometime between 9 p.m. on May 2 and 5 a.m. on May 3. The black Nissan was parked on Chatsworth Avenue in Larchmont.
A New Rochelle man called police at 11:30 a.m. to report a man was physically harassing him on Myrtle Boulevard. Police interviewed the perpetrator, who is also a New Rochelle man, the complainant and a witness on the scene. No arrests were made.
