To the Editor,
Due to the recent construction, it would appear that parking spaces were lost whether permanent or temporary. If permissible, can the lot on Boston Post Road across from the playing field be used for parking?
One possible solution would be a steel bridge with a poured floor having six feet of wrought iron across both ends with handrails and a ten-foot high peaked roof sloping down two feet on both ends with metal staircases and platforms in the middle of the staircases to break the height of them connecting the parking lot to the sidewalk. The bridge should be open so as to be sure nothing is going on that shouldn’t.
This would provide quiet and peace to the parking situation at the Rye High Middle School.
