Port Chester native Bryant “Pee-Wee” Cruz will step back into the ring on Oct. 26, fighting at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J., on the undercard of a Pay-Per-View event headlined by IBF light-heavyweight champ Bernard Hopkins, who will make his first defense of the title against challenger Karo Marat.

Cruz (7-0) trains out of Mamaroneck’s Champs Boxing Club, owned and operated by Ryan O’Leary, who has worked with Cruz since his Golden Gloves days. In his last bout, the 140-pounder won a unanimous decision against Jesus Bayron, winning all six rounds on each judge’s scorecard.

Other fighters on the upcoming card could include WBC super middleweight champion Sakio Bika, and WBO middleweight title-holder Peter Quillin.
