In the team meets, Liam swims the 200 Individual Medley, 100 Freestyle, the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Freestyle Relay. After a successful regular season, Liam earned himself a spot in the state championship meet as well as the federation meet‑which also includes the Catholic, prep and private schools‑competing in the 100 Freestyle and the 200 Individual Medley.

“Liam had an outstanding divisional championship meet” head coach Lara Vivolo said. “Liam helped bring Rye/Blind Brook to a third place finish overall. Liam received all-league honors based on his performance at this meet.”

At the combined state and federation Meet, Liam placed 15th overall in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 1:55.99, which placed him 13th in the state Public School Championships. He also placed fourth overall in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 46.32, which placed him third in the state Public School Championships.

When not swimming for the Garnets, Liam swims for the Badger Swim Club, where he swims all year long. He also teaches swimming to young kids and helps with the swim team at Orienta Beach Club in Mamaroneck.
